After the launch, we have further optimized our webshop based on customer feedback and experience. Basically, the webshop is more intuitive and customer-friendly. It also offers new choices and options.
The following tickets are only available offline (at the chairlift counter and tourist office): points card, group rates (on registration by e-mail sportbahnen@bellwald.ch), election days, IV Pass, dual ski, toboggan ticket.
As an innovative company, Bellwald Sportbahnen always wants to keep its finger on the pulse and offer its customers the best possible service. We therefore endeavor to ensure that customers can benefit from convenient online booking with attractive early booking discounts. Another aim of the pricing strategy is to smooth out the utilization of the sports facilities and make snow sports even more attractive, particularly in the low season. The user-friendly booking process is intended to reduce waiting times at the ticket office at the valley station so that customers can get straight onto the slopes.
No. Compared to the static prices, skiing is significantly cheaper in the period before Christmas, during several weeks in January and from mid-March. In the peak season (Christmas/New Year and from February to mid-March), prices may rise moderately due to high demand. However, customers who book their vacations or ski days early will still be able to ski for less even in the peak season than in the winters with a static price model.
Customers can benefit from the price model in several ways. Early bookers who book their ticket more than 15 days before the actual ski day benefit the most. These customers receive up to 25% early booking discount. Customers also benefit from lower prices if they go skiing in the off-season. Staying guests in particular can benefit from very attractive discounts by booking early. This applies in particular to guests staying in the high season, who benefit from extremely attractive price gradations for multi-day passes (especially from 7-day passes).
The pricing allows the customer to put together a more individualized offer, which is intended to meet the strongly differentiated customer wishes.
Customers who book online benefit from lower prices, which is why early bookings are particularly worthwhile. The daily recalculated price tends to rise the closer the ski day approaches. Early bookings are cheaper than customers who buy their ski pass at short notice or at the ticket office. No "last-minute" price reductions are offered.
Customers who book online also have the opportunity to benefit from attractive discounts or special offers thanks to the newly introduced loyalty program. If the ticket is loaded online onto a SKIDATA Keycard or a SwissPass, there is no need to queue at the ticket office and you can head straight out onto the slopes.
Tickets can be booked online via www.bellwald.ch. Ideally, the ticket should be loaded onto an existing SKIDATA Keycard or SwissPass. If you have neither a Keycard nor a SwissPass, the ticket can simply be printed out at home using the "Print@Home" function and exchanged for a SKIDATA Keycard at the ticket counter. With the Print@Home option, the deposit for the SKIDATA Keycard of CHF 5 is due at the time of online purchase. It can be reclaimed later when the SKIDATA Keycard is returned (at the cable cars, tourist office, restaurants or hotels). However, we recommend that you keep the SKIDATA Keycard so that you can charge future purchases directly and conveniently.
The dynamic pricing model calculates a dynamic price on a daily basis - based on factors such as demand, seasonal phase, day of the week, weather or time of booking.
In principle, all factors that are used to calculate the daily price have a price-increasing effect. In exceptional situations, however, bad weather forecasts can lead to slightly lower prices.
You can keep up to date with the current daily prices at www.bellwald.ch. The price at the ticket counter corresponds to the prices offered online.
Yes, ski passes can still be purchased at the counter.
In principle, the prices of all ski passes - with the exception of season passes - will be determined using the dynamic price model.
Bellwald is, and will remain, a family paradise and will continue to offer discounts for families (families with more than 2 children will receive a 10% discount for each child from the 3-day ski pass). IV passes and partner passes will also receive the same advantageous conditions as before.
Local residents continue to benefit from preferential discounts when purchasing a season ticket. In particular, the attractive early booking campaigns during the pre-sale of season tickets offer special price advantages. Prices for the other ticket categories vary daily. Locals and other guests are treated equally. However, due to the short travel distances to Bellwald, local guests can benefit much more easily from the substantially lower prices in the low season. Local guests also benefit from discounts for families, IV and partner passes.
If you do not have an online payment option via Mastercard, Visacard, Postcard or Twint, you can use a prepaid credit card. You can buy one at any kiosk and top it up with credit before purchasing. You can find more information at https://www.okpunktstrich.ch/de/prepaidcards/sofunktionierts/
